These tiles are handmade and fired with the ancient Japanese process whereby the raw clay is oxidized and blackens, and the glaze areas react with luster and flashes of colour or crackling textures. Each one is uniquely one of a kind, with raw edges, and work beautifully as a set or in multiples. Tiles can be ordered in duplicate with the understanding that they will vary from piece to piece. They can be hung on the wall individually, in series, or set and grouted in quantity. These in combination would make a stunning presentation.
