"Golden Edges" $525

Raku, 7" w X 11" h X 1" d, 1996
The icon series was an off-growth of the Temples. A wall relief that includes many of the same elements, this piece has flashes of gold surrounding its window. Pieces of found metal have been fired into the clay, giving an all over metallic appearance.

"Copper Walls" $525

Raku, 7 1/2" w X 10" h X 1" d, 1996
Shown here as a mate to "Golden Edges", this icon piece has imbedded bits of metal as well. Door and highlights of copper move in and out of figurative textures. This piece contains a depth of mystery that forces the viewer to return again for a greater understanding.
