| Welcome to the Glyph Designs website! This is a virtual way to browse as well as shop for the creations that are housed in the Glyph Designs Showroom, which opened in Brooklyn, NY in 2000.
After 12 years of developing and nationally promoting my craft under the name Janine Sopp Ceramic, it became clear that I needed to show the extent of my work under one roof. The name, Glyph Designs, grew from the need to encapsulate all the facets of what I create (carving, stamping and marking in symbolic gestures) into a single entity. Adjacent to the showroom is my beautiful studio. This vast and special space inspires every phase from creation to production. Here I create my current collections of home accessories, Judaica, tiles, mosaic pieces and sculpture. Because my body of work is constantly evolving, please visit "New Work" to see these most recent creations. Enjoy! |
